St. Katherine Orthodox Project Africa Initiative (SKOPAI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring dignity, uplifting the vulnerable, and transforming lives in rural African communities. Founded in 2009 by Archimandrite Chrysostom Onyekakeyah, SKOPAI was born out of a deep spiritual calling to serve the forgotten—those living without access to education, clean water, healthcare, and hope. Operating in several African countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Liberia, and Cameroon, we carry out our mission through practical interventions rooted in Orthodox Christian values of love, service, and compassion.
